Insect series: Beetrice the bee

Beetrice is a very busy, buzzy bee always hard at work. She loves flitting from flower to flower collecting precious pollen on her furry chest.
She is a mixed media sculpture with her face and chest made from polymer clay. She has a Paverpol body, legs and stripy butt with mohair for hair and wire and resin wings. She is mounted on a Paverpol covered wooden block. Because of the hair, this sculpture is not recommended for outside display.
